This email is only for boys that will be 13 years old or older this summer. This is different than High School Baseball and Dakota Thunder Baseball. Those are their own organizations so if you plan to play with those teams you still need to sign up for VFW or Legion depending on your age. If your son is younger than 13 than you will want to look at Westside Little League as they support our area for little league.
We will turn on the registration page on February 13th, 2020 for you to go out and register. That link is https://dvpanthersbaseball.wixsite.com/dvbaseball. When you click on the payment portion after you sign up, you will not get a message that back. It will feel like the transaction did not go through, but believe me it will. If you go in again and register it will charge you again and then we have to figure out a payback option on the over payment. Registration will close at midnight February 29, 2020 as we need to get jerseys ordered and shipped in time for the season even though it is a few months away.
There will be two buttons to choose from, “Register – Needs Jersey” and “Register – No Jersey” you can determine which one to choose. If you played last year and need a new jersey, please chose the same number you had last year so we do not get any duplicates. These jerseys are yours to keep at the end of the season for the following season. It is common to choose a jersey that will fit your player not just this year, but also next year. We chose quality jerseys to make them last a couple years to help keep costs down.
If you are new to Dakota Valley VFW or American Legion Baseball please see below.
I will have a parents meeting at the Dakota Valley Middle School Commons Area on February 13, 2020 at 6:00 PM to answer any questions about our program. This meeting will take less than an hour. This is very beneficial for those parents that have 13 year old sons and just entering our program. If you are new to Dakota Valley and want to learn more about our program, please feel free to join. We want to make sure everyone understands our program. I also am aware that there is a MS basketball game at 4:30 pm that day in Elk Point so I know that some parents may be a little late, that is OK just get there when you can.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call or text me at 712-251-2053.
