Welcome to the CLASS OF 2034!
Dear families of future DVES Kindergartners,
We are so excited to have your child attending our school starting in the fall of 2021! In order to make the best placement decisions for your child we are holding Kindergarten Round-Up on March 24-25, 2021. This gives our teachers a chance to meet your child, complete a brief academic and social screening, and then talk with you about what they were able to see during those screenings. Our Speech-Language Pathologists will also complete an informal speech screening during this time.
When you attend Kindergarten Round-Up with your child, you will have an opportunity to meet the kindergarten teachers, principal, special services director, transportation director, food service manager, and school nurse. You also will have the opportunity to sign up for bus service, tour the classrooms and a school bus with your child, and get your most pressing questions answered about this first, big step into regular school attendance!
To secure your child’s spot in kindergarten for the 2021-2022 school year, please register by completing the process below.
