Hello! My name is Robin Faldmo and I graduated from Morningside College. I began my teaching career in Iowa City teaching a 5th/6th combination classroom for two years before moving back to Sioux City and teaching 6th and 8th grade in the Sioux City Community School District for three more years. I stepped away from teaching professionally for several years to focus on raising our five children. After 15 years, I returned to the classroom as an adjunct instructor teaching college reading and writing at Western Iowa Technical Community College. I did this for seven and a half years and thoroughly enjoyed my college students. Recently, however, I decided to return to my roots and the K-12 classroom. I began teaching 7th grade Language Arts at Dakota Valley in January of 2020. I look forward to guiding our Dakota Valley seventh graders as they become better writers, communicators and thinkers. It's wonderful to be a part of the school district that has been such a big part of my children and family’s life.
